ABOUT ME

Hi there,

I’m Martina-Grace De Bonis, a registered dietitian and proud member of the ODNQ since 2023. I’m passionate about everything food can do for us — not just fueling our bodies, but also helping to prevent, slow down, and sometimes even reverse health issues like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

What drives me every day is understanding how what we put on our plate can truly make a difference: not just to live longer, but to live better.

Since switching to a 100% plant-based lifestyle in 2018, I’ve made it my mission to show that eating plant-based is anything but boring. It can be incredibly flavourful, satisfying, and most of all, good for our health, for animals, and for the planet. It’s a lifestyle that deeply reflects who I am and what I stand for.

Today, I’m here to support you, inspire you, and guide you in discovering how a healthy, balanced diet can transform your life, one step at a time, at your own pace.

Thank you for being here. I can’t wait to create something meaningful with you.

My journey

Since 2015, cooking has been a big part of my life. It all started when I began preparing healthy meals for my family, reimagining the classic Italian dishes I grew up with — rich in meat, cheese, pasta and bread — and turning them into plant-based versions!

Before switching to a vegan lifestyle, I often felt exhausted, struggled with digestive issues, food intolerances, and unexplained weight loss. Going plant-based changed everything. It not only improved my health but was also driven by a growing awareness of animal suffering. Once I truly understood what was happening, there was no turning back.

In 2023, I earned my license as a registered dietitian from Université Laval in Quebec. Today, I use my knowledge in nutrition to help others eat better, and support them in preventing — and even reversing — chronic diseases.

With Gracefulnutrition, my mission is to empower people with clear knowledge, practical support, and realistic, long-lasting tips to eat more plants, boost their health, and prevent disease — all without sacrificing taste or balance.
