1. Information collected

Gracefulnutrition may collect certain personal information, including:

• your first and last name;
• your email address;
• your phone number;
• information submitted through a contact, appointment or sign-up form;
• information needed for billing and issuing receipts;
• information related to your goals, eating habits, medical history, nutritional needs or health status when you begin nutrition support.

The site's contact form (Business Services and About pages) asks for your name, email address and message, as well as, on the Business Services page and if you choose, your phone number and business name. This information is sent by email to Gracefulnutrition to respond to your request.

The digestive health quiz runs entirely in your browser: your answers are neither transmitted to nor stored by the site. At the end of the quiz, the email address you enter to access your results is sent to Resend, our newsletter tool, to subscribe you to it; your quiz answers themselves are never sent to it.

When you buy a digital guide, payment is processed by Stripe on its own secure page: Gracefulnutrition never sees or stores your card details. Stripe shares your name, email address and, if needed, your billing address with Gracefulnutrition to confirm the purchase and email you your guide. Your IP address is also used, temporarily, to limit repeated purchase or download attempts.

When you visit the site, the host automatically receives certain technical data needed for its operation and security, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. The IP address is also used, temporarily, to limit repeated submissions of the contact form. The site does not use any audience measurement or advertising tools.

The information collected may be used to:

• respond to your requests;
• schedule, confirm or manage your appointments;
• provide personalized nutrition consultation services;
• ensure professional follow-up;
• issue invoices or receipts;
• send the newsletter, when you've consented to it;

When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address is used to send you content related to Gracefulnutrition, such as recipes, nutrition tips, free resources, news or relevant offers.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails you receive.

4. Confidentiality of health information

As part of nutrition consultations, certain personal or health-related information may be collected to better understand your situation and provide you with tailored support.

This information is handled confidentially and is used only within the scope of the professional services provided, unless disclosure is required by law or you give your consent.

Your personal information is not sold or exchanged for commercial purposes.

Some information may, however, be shared with service providers necessary for Gracefulnutrition's operations, for example for website hosting, appointment scheduling, sending emails, payments, billing, record-keeping or virtual meetings.

These providers only have access to the information needed to provide their services. They are required to respect the confidentiality and security of the data processed.

For this site, these providers include Vercel (site hosting), Stripe (payment for digital guides), Cloudflare (storage of digital guides), Resend (delivering contact form messages and guide delivery emails) and Calendly (appointment scheduling, on its own site). These providers may store information outside Quebec.

6. Retention of information

Personal information is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable professional, tax or legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymized or securely archived, as appropriate.

7. Security

Gracefulnutrition puts reasonable measures in place to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, misuse or unauthorized disclosure.

However, no method of transmitting or storing data over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Cookies and local storage

The site does not use cookies to track visitors, measure audience or display advertising.

It only uses:

• a functional cookie that remembers the site's display language (French or English);
• a small memory in your browser (local storage) that remembers whether you've closed the newsletter sign-up prompt or are already subscribed, so it isn't shown to you again. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to the site.

You can delete this information at any time from your browser settings. The site will continue to work normally.

The site may contain links to external platforms, such as social media, booking tools, payment platforms or other resources. Gracefulnutrition is not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.
