The ingredients

  • 1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ¼ cup textured vegetable protein, dry
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • salt
  • ½ banana, mashed
  • 1/3 cup soy milk
  • 1 flax egg, 1 tbsp ground flaxseed + 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • ½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen

The method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, first add all the dry ingredients and mix well, then add the wet ingredients and mix well to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into a small baking dish, then bake for 25 minutes.
