The ingredients
- 1 Catelli Protein+ pasta, dry, 340 g box, or gluten-free chickpea pasta
- 1 cup canned white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 ½ cups no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- salt and black pepper
The method
- In a medium pot, bring water to a boil, then add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions.
- Add the beans, tomato sauce, water, nutritional yeast, basil, salt, and pepper to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Drain the pasta once cooked, return it to the pot, and add the sauce. Mix well to coat the pasta.
