
Protein Cranberry Crumble
This protein cranberry crumble is a deliciously wholesome take on a classic dessert, rich in protein and packed with tangy cranberries for a perfect balance of flavour. It's the ideal treat for satisfying your sweet tooth during the holiday season!
The ingredients
Topping
- 1 ½ cups fresh cranberries
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Crumble
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup textured vegetable protein, TVP; dry
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
The method
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a small baking dish, add all the topping ingredients and mix to coat well.
- In a bowl, mix all the crumble ingredients until well combined.
- Spread the crumble evenly over the cranberries.
- Bake in the centre of the oven for about 45 minutes.
