The ingredients
- 1 cup organic green lentils, dry
- Water
The method
- In a very large mason jar, add the lentils. Close with the lid, cover the lentils with water, shake, and rinse thoroughly. Then drain the water. Repeat this step at least 2 times.
- Fill the jar 3/4 full with water and let soak overnight.
- In the morning, drain the water and rinse the soaked lentils thoroughly. Drain well.
- Place the jar upside down to start the sprouting process.
- Each day, rinse at least once with fresh water, then place the jar upside down again.
- After about 3 days, the lentils will be ready to eat.
