The ingredients

  • 1 aloe vera, found in the produce section; leaf
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 lemons, juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt

The method

  1. On a cutting board, use a knife to trim the sides of the aloe vera leaf, then remove the top layer and the bottom layer.
  2. In a blender, add the aloe gel along with the rest of the ingredients. Blend for about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour the aloe vera juice into 2 large jars. You can strain the juice through a sieve to remove any residue (optional).
