Traditional jams contain about 12 g of sugar per serving and provide no fibre, which can cause blood sugar to spike quickly after eating them.
The soluble fibre in chia seeds helps stabilize blood sugar by slowing down glucose absorption.
Berries are rich in antioxidants like vitamin C, flavonoids and polyphenols, which help fight oxidative stress and neutralize free radicals, reducing the risk of chronic disease and supporting overall health.
