Seasoned Edamame

The ingredients

  • 2 cups edamame in the pod, frozen
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp crushed chili flakes
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lime, wedge

The method

  1. Add the edamame to a medium bowl and add just enough water to cover the bottom. Cover and microwave for 2 minutes.
  2. Drain the water, then add the seasonings to the edamame. Toss well to coat.
  3. Serve hot or cold. Add a squeeze of lime juice just before serving for a refreshing citrusy touch.
