The ingredients
- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup creamy almond butter
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup walnuts
- ½ cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1/3 cup pecans
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
The method
- In a bowl, soak the pitted dates in boiling water for about 5 minutes, then drain.
- Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend for 2 to 5 minutes, until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into an 8x8-inch pan, press evenly, and cut into about 12 bars.
